Questions we get asked

What is a cable drum roller?

A cable drum roller is a low, flat turntable that sits under a cable drum or coil so it spins as you pull, letting one person pay cable out or wind it back without a drum stand or jacks. We stock the Runpotec X-BOARD XB300 (drums up to 300kg) and XB500 (drums up to 800kg and 500mm across).

Runpotec XB300 or XB500: which do I need?

The XB300 is the compact one, 1.26kg, for small and mid-sized drums up to 300kg. The XB500 takes heavy drums up to 800kg and 500mm across, and has a height-adjustable lid to hold loose coils and pipe. Both work with damaged drums and have rubber feet that protect finished floors.
