Privacy notice
How EW Group (UK) Ltd uses the personal information you give us through this website.
Who we are

What we collect and why
- Quote and project enquiries: your name, company, email, phone number and the details of your enquiry. We use them to reply to you and prepare a quote. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (responding to a business enquiry you sent us) and steps taken before entering into a contract.
- Trade account applications: your name, company name and registration number, email, phone numbers, company address and signature. We use them to open and run your trade account. Our lawful basis is contract.
- Marketing emails: only if you tick the box to opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying "unsubscribe" or contacting us. Our lawful basis is consent.
- Server logs: our web host records technical information such as IP addresses to keep the website secure. We record the IP address on account applications to help prevent fraud.
Who we share it with
We don't sell or share your information with others for their own marketing. It is held by our IT and website hosting providers, who act on our instructions, and we may share it where the law requires.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to two years, and trade account records for as long as your account is open plus six years, to meet accounting and legal requirements.
Cookies and fonts
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies, and we don't run analytics. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with them.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent for marketing. Contact us using the details above. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
