What is Powerdrop and how does it work?

The short answer

Powerdrop is a 100m length of 110V arctic cable with a 16A socket on a short drop every 5m or 10m. Hang it along a floor or ceiling and plug tools and lights in anywhere, with no trailing extension leads and fewer trip hazards. Moulded T-drop versions have sealed T-pieces instead of junction boxes.

Can I add RCD protection to Powerdrop?

Yes. Fit this 110V in-line RCD at the drop to protect the lead or tool plugged into it.
